UCL Policy Studies Research Network

The UCL Policy Studies Research Network is a space for PhD students from across UCL working on topics related to education policy through a policy sociology approach (Ball 1997). This offers a platform to share our research, get targeted guidance and advice from fellow students with similar theoretical backgrounds and to get to know other students with similar research interests.

The Network meets regularly during term time for various work-in-progress presentations and upgrade clinics as well as education policy-specific theoretical and methodological workshops. We also hold fortnightly social meet-and-greets and the Network has plans to invite guest speakers from within UCL as well as other institutions in the UK and internationally. The Network's Teams Channel is regularly updated with events, conferences, and general information to keep our members abreast with recent research and developments in the field.
