When Internet users visit a Wikipedia article, browse products online or access health information, they assume that their privacy is protected. They rely on TLS, a security protocol used by billions of users to protect sensitive information. This picture visualizes a taxonomy of encrypted Internet traffic traces generated by a deep neural network. The network can parse the encrypted traffic of the user and distinguish the page accessed among thousands of others. Each pixel is a page loaded. AI has shown great promise in advancing our understanding of the universe and expanding our capabilities in a multitude of sectors. This development will not be without a profound effect on society. The extensive computational resources needed are available only to a limited number of individuals, organizations, and countries. We will soon be faced with inequalities and ethical dilemmas, we've never encountered before.
