Skin is the largest organ and the first defensive line against external allergens in human body. Keratinocytes, one of major cells in skin, contribute to fully functional skin. Using keratinocytes in dermatology research can study skin diseases. This 'heart' formed by primary keratinocytes from healthy donor grow naturally during cell culture. It represents not only the love of PhD life, but also the heart of science.
