Inflatable Alpine Tent Suit
The ‘Inflatable Alpine Tent Suit’ was developed as a wearable piece of architecture that could be used to hike the Swiss Alps. The tent folds-up and attaches to the body for walking purposes, and can then be deployed and inflated when a camping site is reached, sleeping up to five people. The photographs here show it inflated on the Rhone Glacier and worn as a suit on the mountain Santis. The project was developed as part of my masters degree in architecture.
