Want to improve your written work?

Michelene Wandor, Royal Literary Fund Fellow, offers tutorials of one hour in good, clear academic writing.

Michelene will be happy to see you about any matter connected with writing essays, dissertations and PhDs. Issues may include titles, how best to structure an argument, how to present discursive writing, and how to relate the overall framework to individual parts of the structure.

HOW

Through one-to-one tutorials of an hour, booked in advance.

WHEN

Wednesdays between 11am and 5pm during term time.

Please let her have any written work no later than 10am on the day of the tutorial.

Michelene Wandor is a poet, playwright, fiction writer and critic. Her poetry collection, Music of the Prophets (Arc Publications) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Her play, Tulips in Winter, about Spinoza, was broadcast in 2008. Her history of creative writing in the UK, The Author is not Dead, Merely Somewhere Else, for which she received an Arts Council grant, is published by Palgrave Macmillan. Her first novel will be published in 2012, and she is currently completing a play about the Renaissance, for Radio 3.
