Division of Infection and Immunity Postgrad Club

The Postgrad Club of the Division of Infection and Immunity is open to graduate students of the two departments comprising the Division - the Department of Infection and the Department of Immunology and Molecular Pathology. Externally-based students registered with these departments are also encouraged to attend.

The Department of Infection covers the Centres for Medical Microbiology; Infectious Diseases and International Health; Clinical Infection; Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Microbiology; the Eastman Centre for Microbial Infections and the Centres for Virology at the Royal Free and Bloomsbury sites.

The Department of Immunology and Molecular Pathology covers the Immunology and Molecular Pathology groups, the Wohl Virion Centre and the Centres for Immunodeficiency, Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology and for Rheumatology Research.

The club is intended to provide an opportunity for students to meet informally. Meetings take place three or four times each term, with refreshments available. By student request the current programme offers talks from people who have not gone into straight laboratory-based research following their PhD.
