"Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground."

Retinal degeneration is one of the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide with limited effective treatment options. Over the past decade, stem cell therapy has evolved rapidly. Our project aims to make neuroretina from induced pluripotent stem cells. The picture shows a confocal microscope image of an embryoid body (aggregate of stem cells), which may be transplanted under the patient's retina.
