Aligning the Ti:Sapphire crystal of a Spectra Physics Tsunami mode-locked femto-second pulsed laser (peak power is approximately 2 GigaWatts, for around femtosecond at a time. A femtosecond is one millionth of a nanosecond or 10^-15 seconds.
